“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:4-6 (NRSV)
Prayer is how we talk and listen to God. When we pray, we offer our joys and thanksgivings, our sorrows and our burdens. Through prayer, we listen for God’s movement in our lives. Our prayer ministry is an important part of our life together as the people of God. We have a prayer list which is published in the weekly bulletin as well as the monthly newsletter. Names typically remain on the list for four weeks, unless requested otherwise. We provide new prayer requests in a weekly email and also have a phone prayer chain for those who would prefer a phone call.
Prayer requests may be made by contacting the church office. If you desire your prayer to be shared, you will be prayed for by our elders and/or placed on our prayer list which is published in our bulletin, newsletter, and by email. If you do not desire your prayer to be shared, it will remain in confidence and only prayed for by our pastors. Please indicate in your response if you desire your prayer to be shared or not.
Thank you for allowing us to pray for you. May God bless you.
