Senior Minister
Rev. Diana Hodges-Batzka
Pastor Diana began her service as Senior Minister in August 2011. She comes to us after serving at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Montgomery, Alabama from July 2009-June 2011 as Resident Pastor, a two-year pastoral residency through the Congregational Immersion Program from the Disciples Divinity House at Vanderbilt. Along with her gifts for ministry, she brings to our congregation an enthusiasm for church and a love of children, youth, and adults. She is passionate about helping connect people to God’s love through an embracing and loving community.
Diana graduated with her B.A. with a major in history and minors in French and Museum Studies from Lynchburg College in 2003. She has worked in campus ministry and as a Director of Religious Education at a Disciples congregation in Richmond before pursuing graduate theological education. She received her Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt University Divinity School in 2009 and was ordained at her home congregation of Riverside Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Jacksonville, Florida. She is married to John Hodges-Batzka.
Pastor
Linda Springer-Leiser
Pastor Linda is a 60 year member of First Christian Church, Lemoyne. In 2003, she became part of the church staff after she followed her desire to become a licensed minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Pennsylvania. She serves the church by leading worship, preaching, and planning activities. When not at church, she works full-time and is a devoted volunteer to the arts community She did her undergraduate and graduate work at Penn State University. Reading and traveling are her passions in her free time. She is married to Steve Springer.
Organist
Mary Snyder
For over 50 years, Mary has shared her gift and love of music by serving as our organist. She has been a member of the church for almost her whole life. She began playing the piano before age 6 and began organ lessons at age 16. Our worship is greatly enriched by Mary’s musical talent.
Secretary
Sara Zettlemoyer
Sara joined the staff of FCC in 2009. She brings to our congregation her many talents and gifts in administration. She coordinates the office, produces our weekly bulletins, monthly newsletter, handles correspondence, manages the church calendar, and much more. She is married to Jeff Zettlemoyer and they have a daughter, Hailey.
